Willies background in Ireland was Pop /Rock Music, Beatles /Stones/ Tom Jones/Deep Purple / C, S N & Y also Cats Stevens. The Irish music Willie knew but in Ireland couldn't make a living playing it, like the price of a pint. The Irish songs were sung at a Hooley in the homes, you couldn't sing a Deep Purple song at a Hooley, it just would not happen. Willie Came to the states playing 6 and 12 string guitars and singing solo jobs playing C ,S,N &Y John Denver, Cats Stevens, until a Irish crowd came in one night looking for the Irish singer and wanted to hear Irish Songs. Well that was Willie on the spot came out came the old songs from the Hooleys we had at the house. So every week he gets more Irish songs in the program. Willie went on to form a Trio and then a show band. Willie has played at Irish Festivals for crowds ages 8 years to 80 years there is some thing for every age when seeing the Willie Lynch Band. Willie has preformed at many a Weddings/ Anniversaries / Birthdays / Chastening/ Family reunions, OR just being alive party. Willie also has his DJ if needed.
