The Chris Thomas Band is an R&B, Funk, and Soul, Classic and Modern Rock band that are steadily obtaining recognition throughout the Jersey Shore area. Lead by singer/guitarist Chris Thomas, who at a very young age embraced a deep love for music. His artistic roots were always very close to his soul. Throughout his youth the sounds of R&B, Soul, and 60’s and 70’s music echoed as a soundtrack to his life. His inspiration came from both his mother and sister’s record collection: Motown, Gladys Night, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, and Janice Joplin, among many others. As Chris grew musically, he always approached his goals spiritually and emotionally.

He blends many musical styles into a creative range of emotion. His unique style covers a broad spectrum of musical and spiritual influence. Throughout his musical career, Chris has performed solo and in acoustic duos as well as three, four and five piece bands alike.Joined by some of areas best musicians the Chris Thomas Band performs a diverse mix of funky groovy tunes sure to get crowds of all ages up and moving.
